I’m not much of a makeup wearer although I do know how to apply it on my face. I’ve learned to do that in high school, wherein sometimes me and my fellow speech choir members had to do our own makeup during competitions. I can apply lipstick and blusher even without a mirror.

But my skin is easily irritated when I use the wrong kind of cosmetic. So I opted to not use them very often. I’m good with my good ole Johnson’s face powder, lip gloss or lip balm and a lip color whenever I feel like applying it. No sweat!

With one last sigh, Shana walked towards the door and pushed it open. She was greeted by a soft sexy music playing in the background. She looked around. A knowing smile curled on her lips. Her eyes went to the handcuffs on the wall, to the leather whip beside it, then to the shotgun lying on the floor. Hmmm… perfect for my tricks, she thought, excitement building at the pit of her belly.

A rustling sound made her turn. What greeted her eyes made her smile even wider. She made one naughty step forward… forward… her eyes never leaving the object of her desire. Reaching her destination, she raised one hand. With lips slightly apart, her hand moved down, ensuring the reality of it all. Believe it or not, it’s Sukob! While other people in the cinema were shouting/scared, my friend and I were laughing all throughout the movie because of one of the character’s really bad acting! (Kahit sa TV commercials nga, dir in maayos umarte, hay nuku!)

La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful). This film gives you all the funny and cheerful stuff first, but towards the end it will trigger your emotion. Just thinking of the sacrifices a father has to do to make a normal life for his child during WWII and in a prison camp…

Ay, mga movies ni Matet at saka ni Aiza kung minsan.

Dalawa na sila ngayon, actually. Dati yung Dr. Zhivago lang! Sobrang haba ng movie na `to. Over sa dialogue. When I was watching this film on DVD, I fell asleep twice. Pag nagigising ako, di pa rin sya tapos! At usap pa rin ng usap yung mga characters. Across the Universe. The songs were great but, there’s something in the course of events that’s just not right. I fell asleep while watching it.

9. One movie that made you happy.
Europa Europa. Felt good watching this movie, lalo na pagdating sa ending. Parang nag-adventure sa buong Europa ang central character, kahit pa giyera.

10. One movie that made you miserable.
Jú Dòu. Don’t get me wrong, because Zhang Yimou is one of my favorite filmmakers. Maybe the plot of this film was too much for me when I first saw it. Maganda sya, pero nakakalungkot na medyo nakakainis din.

None so far. Yabang ko, no? Basta, kahit mag-isa talaga, nanonood ako ng horror films sa bahay. Ang lapit ko pa nyan sa TV o kaya sa monitor ng computer kasi ayoko magsalamin. hehehe

1. How did you meet # 4? I met Sherma in college, na napagkamalan ko pang upperclassman kasi hindi kasama sa block naming nung first year. She’s one of my very best friend.

• Family: Definitely, it’s “Laugh at Your Heart’s Content.” The post is composed of photos mainly but I think they say a lot about how we are in the family (meaning, the whole clan). Besides, those photos are among my most treasured — happy and carefree.

• Friends: From my Old Neighborhood. I grew up in the barrio, so the neighborhood is pretty tight. The other kids there became my first buddies before I made friends in school.
