Been tagged again by Sonnet’s. The rule is to share something about makeup.

I’m not much of a makeup wearer although I do know how to apply it on my face. I’ve learned to do that in high school, wherein sometimes me and my fellow speech choir members had to do our own makeup during competitions. I can apply lipstick and blusher even without a mirror.

But my skin is easily irritated when I use the wrong kind of cosmetic. So I opted to not use them very often. I’m good with my good ole Johnson’s face powder, lip gloss or lip balm and a lip color whenever I feel like applying it. No sweat!

I’m still pissed off with some smelly expat at work. He’s caused too much trouble that our working environment’s not too conducive to even invite a slight streak of creativity from anyone. Good thing, I thought of hopping to Rhapsody’s and saw this tag. Might as well do it; it’d at least keep my mind away (even for a while) from the cause of my stress these days!

Believe it or not, it’s Sukob! While other people in the cinema were shouting/scared, my friend and I were laughing all throughout the movie because of one of the character’s really bad acting! (Kahit sa TV commercials nga, dir in maayos umarte, hay nuku!)

2. One movie that made you cry.
La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful). This film gives you all the funny and cheerful stuff first, but towards the end it will trigger your emotion. Just thinking of the sacrifices a father has to do to make a normal life for his child during WWII and in a prison camp…

3. One movie you loved when you were a child.
Ay, mga movies ni Matet at saka ni Aiza kung minsan.

4. One movie you’ve seen more than once.
Inuulit-ulit ko lahat ng movies na meron ako.

I’m not embarrassed to admit any movie I’ve seen. Lahat kinukwento ko.

Bruce Almighty. I don’t like the profanity in this film. Feeling ko nga blasphemous din sya.

The Ring series – the original versions. Do I need to explain why?

Dalawa na sila ngayon, actually. Dati yung Dr. Zhivago lang! Sobrang haba ng movie na `to. Over sa dialogue. When I was watching this film on DVD, I fell asleep twice. Pag nagigising ako, di pa rin sya tapos! At usap pa rin ng usap yung mga characters. Across the Universe. The songs were great but, there’s something in the course of events that’s just not right. I fell asleep while watching it.

9. One movie that made you happy.
Europa Europa. Felt good watching this movie, lalo na pagdating sa ending. Parang nag-adventure sa buong Europa ang central character, kahit pa giyera.

10. One movie that made you miserable.
Jú Dòu. Don’t get me wrong, because Zhang Yimou is one of my favorite filmmakers. Maybe the plot of this film was too much for me when I first saw it. Maganda sya, pero nakakalungkot na medyo nakakainis din.

11. One movie you weren’t brave enough to see.
None so far. Yabang ko, no? Basta, kahit mag-isa talaga, nanonood ako ng horror films sa bahay. Ang lapit ko pa nyan sa TV o kaya sa monitor ng computer kasi ayoko magsalamin. hehehe

Ngayon, si Amy Adams. Aliw na aliw ako sa kanya sa Enchanted saka sa Junebug.

1. How did you meet # 4? I met Sherma in college, na napagkamalan ko pang upperclassman kasi hindi kasama sa block naming nung first year. She’s one of my very best friend.

2. What would you do without #5? I’d be very sad. Tayns is like a sister. We have so many things in common. She’s also a college buddy that became a best friend.

3. What would you do if #2 and # 6 were going out? Ngek! It will never happen! They’re both girls! Really bad scene. HAHAHAHA!

4. Who’s #10′s best friend? Her books! She spends her entire time reading.

7. Who is #11 dating? He’s not dating anyone. Loyal husband and dad ito sa kanyang wife and daughter. If ever he’s dating anyone, isusumbong ko sya.

8. What do you think of #3? Yuri is an unusual kid. He prefers musicals over cartoons. Favorite movies niya, Spider-man (but he’s afraid of spiders!), High School Musical, Cats, The Sound of Music. His favorite song at the moment is Seasons of Love (from Rent—he’s not old enough to watch this film). He also loves listening to The Wedding March— something I really can’t understand why. He’s amazed that Maria (Julie Andrews) still appears in films until now.:D And he’s six years old.
