Art Project: Flowing Leaves
Whenever I try my hand at painting, I’m always partial to watercolor as my medium. It usually occupies my spare time or when I’m in the mood to [try to] create an artwork.
I did one last summer. It’s not as remarkable as a pro’s work, but as I was looking at it the other day, it became clear to me why I chose this particular subject and picked those hues from the box of watercolor tubes, gathered several paintbrushes, and started working.

This piece, which I named “Flowing Leaves,” was done almost four months ago, the same time I had to make a major decision. It is now that I realized why I picked those leaves from the garden and painted the watercolor pad in blue: because at that time, I was turning over a new leaf; taking my life in a new direction. I thought that although the water in the stream has a particular destination, I have decided to go against the current and create my own channel.
So far, I’m loving the decision I made. Life is good (and the Almighty’s making it even better). I couldn’t be more grateful. 
ohhhhhhhh! maganda ang obra ng babaeng ito, tingin ko’y mararating nito ang tagumpay. malay natin isang araw invite ako sa kanyang exhibit. sana ipagpatuloy mo iha. un nga lang may nilabag ka. diba bawal ang pumitas ng halaman? hindi maganda yan. joke joke hahahahahahaha ang ate may bagong hilig. pwede ung nude kong photo? hahahahahaha
Go ako dyan sa nude painting mo kuya, basta naka-blindfold ako! hahahaha!

elib talaga ako sa pagiging artist na ka avi… ganda pa ng kulay… like it pero next time gawa ka rin ng purple. hahahha
ako ma water color hanggang ngayon… pero di magawa yang mga ganyan… bat kaya? hahahah
naalala ko tuloy yung sinabi ni laurice guillen kay jay ilagan sa stella L… ” hindi mahirap magdesisyon, ang pangatawanan yun, yun ang mahirap”. naisip ko tuloy… buti na lang di ako nagmadre. hehhe. pero kung ano ang gusto mo, sundin mo…awwwww! laban-laban

Naniniwala ako na walang taong walang art sa katawan. We’re all artist in our own right. I-rediscover mo ang passion sa pagdo-drawing. I’m sure nandyan pa rin yan, nagpahinga nang kaunti.
Ang ganda ng combination ng colors. Isa kang talentadong tao, Avi! hehehe

Almost all of whatever you mention is astonishingly appropriate and that makes me wonder the reason why I hadn’t looked at this with this light before.
